The Monster DL200 is a monster "Jerk Bait". Cast it out, let it sit on the surface for up to 30 seconds, point the rod tip down towards the water, and jerk it back to you, about 6 to 12 inches at a time. You will see the lure dart from side to side.
The DL200 will dive 10 to 18 feet. The harder you jerk the lure, the more erratic motion it will have. The lure has a good flash in the water, and replicates an injured baitfish. The lure has no limits. The bait can be fished slowly, to very fast. The lure runs true at all speeds.
You will need to up size your gear to fish this bait. We recommend 20 to 30 lb. test line, on a 7 to 8 foot heavy rod.
All Monster Series Lures have internal thru wire from the forward attach rig to all hooks.
